50th Birthday Car

Template used designed by Arty Farty. I made this for my friends Hubby who is 50 soon. He is a joiner so I couldn't resist putting some tools on and a little flowersoft sawdust!
I used CC centura snow white card, Papermania capsule black card. Bits from my stash!

It's Limette day again!

I hope you have had a better week than I have it's been terrible.

On the way to my Aunt's funeral yesterday I had a call from my son to say he is going to Afghan in August even though he has a broken and arthritic foot! I new it was coming and of coarse it is his job. Surely they should sort his foot out first.

We got back home tonight to find out a familly friend has passed away.

I think I am in shock.

Thank goodness for card making I really don't no what I would do without it!

My first card is A5

I used the adorable teddy stamp. I have had it years and havn't used it for ages.

I coloured it in with Whispers pens.

Second card

A6 tent. I used the Cuttlebug flourish stamped the rose with Brilliance ink pads.
I'm off to bed now, exhausted I will try and catch up with everyone tomorrow.

Last LIM ones for this week! I promise Mandi! Lol!

I have loads to do before Fridays funeral and all I want to do is forget about it all and to play at making LIM cards!

Any how, I made both cards with Kan Ban stamps. Flourish Sizzix stamp. Memento black and a Do crafts Red Dye ink. Birds have been coated with Glossy accents. Nesties 10.

Less is more week 18 " Colour Monochrome"

Blimey doesn't Saturday soon come round? Or should I say LIMDAY!
This weeks challenge at LIM is colour monochrome. I have used blue card stock a digital image and sentiment which I took into MCS and manipulated. I coloured it with Whispers pens & a touch of Cosmic Acrylic drawing ink Denim.
We had such a fantastic responce to our first challange at CFAS over 300 entries. We have decided to put some thank you card candy on our personal blogs. So please feel free to follow the rules and join in with the fun!

Humphrey!

Happy Friday everyone!

What an awful week I have had! My lovely Aunt passed away on Wednesday. RIP. It was a blessing really she was so poorly. She had Gangrene in her leg and needed it amputated but was to ill to have the operation. She has been poorly all this year really. While she was in hospital she has had MRSA & Ecoli! It's a miracle she has lasted the time she has.
On top of this I have had a couple of friends who have been poorly.
To top it all major PC problems.
Hassle with cars. Let's just say the list goes on........ To top it all we have just found out my Aunt wants her funeral to take place at Blackpool where she used to live! OH isn't well (grumpier than usual) at the mo doesn't want to go!

Sorry to go on but I feel like I am going to burst! I just needed to get it off my chest!
Looking on the bright side (is there one) the son is shining!!

On to the card... How can you not smile when you look at this gorgeous character Humphrey from Crafters Companion. I stamped him in black Memento. I coloured him with the fabulous Whispers pens.(thanks for the tip Leanne)!

I also used Cosmic shimmers Acrylic Drawing inks. I bought from the fab Scrapbook shop. to highlight areas.
