Another double gate fold card!

I used Kan Ban papers and Pinflair verse in the middle. Ponsettia are from Kars. Snow flakes I used Sizzix die. Scrolls Marianne dies.

Front has some beautiful pink card stock I bought from QVC.

Cuttlebug Embossing Folder Graces frame. Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

I made the inside using Hunky Dory card stock from Windows of the heart,

My Family

My eldest, son Gary, dil Rebecca, Granddaughter's, Jessica 7, Ella 3 and Abi 5
 It is very rare to get them all together for a picture. So I'm thrilled.

Penny Verse

I thought i would share this baeutiful little verse with you. I don't no who wrote it but it's lovely.

Today I found a penny just laying on the ground
but its a very special one this little coin I've found
It's said when angels miss you
they toss a penny down
maybe just to cheer you up
or make you smile instead of frown
so dont pass by that penny
when you are feeling blue
it could be one from heaven
that an angels tossed to you .

Sorry I havn't been around much but I have been in hospital for an operation then I had a fall a few days after! I am getting better every day so I hope I will be back soon.

Instructions for Double Gate Fold!

I have been asked for instructions for this card, it's my first attempt, so please bear with me. The papers I have used are from a new mens Cd from Amethyst Papercraft designs.
Cd is called Man of the Moment. it's available now on their website.

Take 5 pieces of A4 card, fold two pieces in half making A5 cards.

Next score two pieces into three on A5 fold then again at each side on A4 gate fold. Make an aperture with your required shape. I often use the Keepsake boards for this but anything will do.

(I love using my large nesties to do this but I do the aperture before I score the middle then I can use the cut out. Score both the side lines then you can place the nesties better. I use repositional tape to hold them in place.) Put a piece of ribbon on the left hand side only.

Next place an A5 piece of paper in the middle.

Attach the aperture part to the inside of the A5 card.

Repeat this placing the ribbon on the right hand side of the card.

This makes two separate cards as above.

Place DST on the back of each card, I always use strong DST down the spine.

Place on the A4 sheet of card so they meet in the middle. Decorate as required.
