Our Family Wedding cards

We have a family wedding tomorrow, my cousin's daughter Jane & Adam are getting married! They are both called Swallow so Jane doesn't need to change her sir name. Both parents are called Anne & Steve! How cool is that!

I have made these two cards for them.

I used Snow white card from crafter's Companion and C&C mirri board. Nesties 4 (I love them) lol. Odds and ends from my stash.Church is a Cut & Print template. I used Kan ban card for the main body and box the slate backing paper and floor paper from CC 3d card builder cd. Bits n bobs from my stash.TFS, and leaving me a comment, I love them!xx Jan

Less is more Challenge 12 Recipe "Off centre"

Well I finally got to have a go at this weeks LIM challenge
I was having withdrawal symptoms. LOL
I used cream Paper Mill card embossed in the Big shot with Craft concepts embossing folder "In Stitches" Flowers are from The Hobby House. Bows are from White Elephant store Ebay.
Sentiment is done using Papermania tasty bits embossing folder. On some card from my stash!

I decided I prefer the sentiment cream lol! What do you think?

Crafting For All Season's Disign Team

Hi Everyone, and a very Happy Easter!
I haven't posted for a couple of days because I have been so busy visiting my very poorly Aunt in hospital and today I went to the vets with my dear friend because her poor dog had to be put down she was very old and suffering. Rest in peace Jess.
It's been a strange couple of days with ups & downs!

I came home quite low and was thrilled to find an email from Dawn asking me to be on the DT at Crafting for all season's blog, it's a brand new challenge blog with some wonderful sponsors lined up. Some great blogs to visit from the other wonderful DT members. Pop over and check it out!
I'm a little nervous as it's my first blog DT but I am really looking forward to it.

The first of today's cards I have made using Pretty Perennials Embossing plus folder, also embossed Congratulations with Papermania. tasty treats. I punched the hearts using C&C rainbow card. I finished with this beautiful diamante trim and a couple of bows.

Second card is a ready to print download from The Clipart Fairy

I finished with lace, a couple of bows and some Stickles.

Less is more Challenge 11 Theme acetate no 2

Hi everyone and fellow Limettes. It's a beautiful day here in the North East. I have my son and DIL and little bump at home right now. House is a tip from top to bottom but hey it's a home again! No2 LIM I used Cuttlebug embossing plus folder on cream Papermill card. I placed that on pink card. Leaves are Marianne dies and flowers are from my stash. I place the acetate round like a dome, then put the butterfly on top of the acetate so it looks like it's in the air. Have a great week and thanks for looking. Well I finally had a reply to the email I sent last Friday. It is now Wednesday. I bought it from Once Upon a Stamp this is their reply, Gordon said; "Please go to the web site of Joy crafts and contact them. They are sending out gears to everyone who has this problem." I have contacted Joy Crafts and will just have to wait and see what happens. I have only had it 6 months. This is my second machine since September.

New blog Crafting for all seasons

Ther's a fabulous new challenge blog called Crafting for all seasons starting soon they are asking for DT members! You need to link your blog and show 3 of your best cards on your blog. I decided to have a go! It will be a challenge if I get it as I have never done anything like it before! Hey nothing ventured nothing gained!

1st card I used Pink Petticoat papers, Joy butterfly corner die, Wild Orchid flowers & a few gems.

2nd card I used my Go Kreate frilly 2 nesties, Sugar Nellie image Verity, I used a Sizzix flourish stamp round the edge and TH Distressed ink pad pumice stone, some bits n bobs from my stash.

3rd I made an easel card using my XXL Frilly 2 Go Kreate dies and Mega ovals. Image is from Cuddly Buddly. Toby tumbles.

LIMette card no 2 Challenge 10

Happy Monday everyone!

I had a wonderful day on Saturday followed by an awful Sunday spent mainly in bed with one of the worst migraines I have ever had! So now my Scoliosis & Athritus pains are worse because I was in bed so long!

Thankfully the Migrains gone!

Such is my life, I never no what each day will bring health wise for me. I just muddle through each of them the best way I can.

I no I am not alone there's a lot of you in the same or worse boat than me!

So, I thought this sentiment was very apt. " Enjoy today! We never know what tomorrow will bring. Contentment is precious!

It's on Papermill ivory linen card stock. The sentiment I made in Greetings card factory deluxe. I embossed some circles using my nesties by hand and an embossing tool. A punched circle in the middle coloured with a Pro Marker, with a Wild Orchid flower!

I got a new embossing plus folder today. Called He loves me!

I think it's another favourite. Just a simple card but pretty.I had some wonderful news my gorgeous Son & "Daughter" have announced they are expecting their first baby.

I had a successful shopping trip too. I should have put the lottery on they say things come in three's!

WELL I DON'T BELIEVE IT I HAVE JUST WON SOME AWSOME BLOG CANDY FROM Edna's wonderful blog my first ever blog candy, I am so happy I could burst LOL!

LIM Challenge 10 one layer focus on sentiment

Happy Saturday everyone. It's another beautiful day here. I'm off shopping for a new outfit for a wedding at the end of the month!

Over on Less is more the challenge is focus on sentiment! One layer! I love these challenges and they certainly are challenging lol! I am now officially a LIMette! I love it!

Well I am gutted my wonderful JT A4 die cutting machine has broke today. I had to have it replaced last September four weeks after I bought it. I was really upset at the time as I was accused of braking it! I new I hadn't! I was told it could not brake!!! Well now we no different as Ikki's broke too. Aparently a fault with the gears! I am hoping I have a better responce this time. I will let you no!

LOTV Challenge 91 Peach & Green

I got my Garnd Nesties 4 today from Joanna Sheen's shop. Excellent prices and free P&P Yey. Excellent fast service too. I have been itching to play with them all day!

Challenge at LOTV is peach and green. I made the base card with them then layered them up.

Coloured the flowers, bow & Bumps image with copics & pro markers. Glittered it all with spray glitter from Crafters Companion. Leaves are made with Marianne die.

Fairy Castle

Hi Everyone, it's a lovely day here!

Sorry I haven't posted for a few days. Thankfully I am on the mend. I lost my voice for a few days OH was thrilled! LOL!

I decided to see if my Robo wanted to play and it DID! I love my CraftRobo but boy does it drive me crazy. Some days it cuts where I want it to then other days it won't. I really need a new one but not right now!

I trimmed the box using an MS punch. Template was designed by Anne at Treasured templates.

Bubbles Lili of the valley challenge #90 Spring

I love this little elephant Bubles stamp from LOTV. 8x8 backing papers are from DCWV Nana's kids. Flower is Prima. MS punch. Mega oval nesties scallop and plain. Coloured with Copics & some Glossy accents. Also used some chalk. TFL

Less is more Challenge 9 Colour

Today's challenge over at Less is more is colour! A touch of red. I have used my favourite Marianne designable folder. Sentiment is from craftwork cards.

It's taken me all day to get the energy to make this, I am really feeling under the weather this week.

I'm hoping and praying I can go out for a meal this evening with my wonderful Dad who is 88 yrs young today.

Hi Everyone

Just saying hi everyone and sorry for not posting for a couple of days. Had a busy couple of days including a funeral. Now of coarse I'm not well again!!! I have had to rest this afternoon and I fell asleep! I need to sort myself out as my Dear old Dad is 88 tomorrow. He is taking us out for a meal tomorrow so I don't want to miss that! I said I hope lobster is on the menu or something very expensive as he is paying! LOL! I will try and make a card tomorrow. Have a great weekend xx Jan
