Crafty Cardmakers challenge 47 Love the lasting kind

I am entering the Crafty cardmakers challenge
My three gorgeous granddaughter's Jessica 8, Abi 6 & Ella Jane 4. They are 3 adorable girls and I love them to bits.

Every so often I have a dable in scrapbooking. I have started a couple but thats about it!

My DS2 bought me a kit for xmas and I have done the first two layouts with it!

Top two pages the photo's where taken on Abi's 6th birthday on New Year eve 2010.

The bottom layout which I do prefer the photo was taken when we where crafting together in my craftroom. They all love to craft with me. Abi has more patience and lasts the longest the other two get board so go and play with Grandad. TFL xx Jan

Cut this out with Go Kreate 8" xxl Cirles. Ditressed with TH lipstick. Image is digital and from gorgeous Mami Doodles. Coloured with Po Markers, Copics & Cosmic Acrylics. Flowers are from the gorgeous Wild Orchid crafts. Bits from my stash!

A nother LIM card no3

The first of todays cards is another for Less is more. Challenge 17 Recipe "pick a square" card no 3. Another Tatty Ted stamp. I cut an aperture in the bottom corner & made a frame with my nesties. I stamped him in TH Distress Ink, Weathered wood. I love TT stamped in this. I left the frame in the nesties and shaded with the same ink. I shaded him a little with Copics C1. I coloured his nose and part of his brolly with gorgeous Cosmic Acrylic Drawing ink. Denim. I havened put a sentiment on because I don't no who it's for!

Two cards tonight, both from Crafters Companion. The first one is from Popcorn Bear Platinum Romance. I made a frame card from the cd.

Second is the free download Humphrey. I love this one and I can't wait for my stamps to come!!!!

Tatty Ted LIM challenge 17 Pick a square card no2

Well the girls have done it again! Over at LIM. They certainly no how to get every ones creative juices flowing lol!

Tatty ted is a freebie on this months Do Crafts mag.

I have been to The Scrapbook Shop today. To a crop I bought some of the delicious Cosmic Acrylic Drawing ink. I used Denim for his nose and the balloons. It's fantastic stuff. I also bought a TH Distress ink Tattered Wood, it's a perfect colour for TT.
I used an 8x8 card blue card from my stash.

I prefer the one with the balloons! I don't no if it acceptable for the LIM challenge. I will see what the lovely Lady diva Lim's say about it!

LIM week 17 "pick a square"

YAY Saturday again it soon comes round. What a frustrating week with blogger.Not been able to post and the last couple of days all my followers have vanished!
Today's challenge over at LIM. is "pick a Square.
I have chosen to use Papermania products today apart from the ink pad which is black Memento.
Hope blogger gets back to normal soon.

BLOGGER!!!!!

Hi everyone, just a quick note to say sorry there are quite a few blogs I cannot post on due to the continued problems with blogger.
I have tried but nothing I can do till it's sorted out.

I am feeling a little better today so I am going to have a go at making something!

I've had a poor week with my health and my beloved Aunt is very poorly. Was given two days three days ago! She is 89 and has had a good life but is certainly suffering now. She has been in hospital a couple of months and now has Gangrene in her leg and needs an operation but is too poorly to have it.
If you can spare a little prayer for her I would be so grateful. Thank you.

Butterflies

No3 card for Less is More challenge.
I used one of my favourite embossing folders and put some Versamark on the flower and butterflies and then I stamped the sentiment, I sprinkled them with gilded ivory, Glamour and glitz embossing powder. I punched the butterfly on the right with x cut punch and finished with a few gems.

A couple of cards

8x8 card is a Cuddly Buddly download which I have printed out onto A3 card. I cut the centre circle out to make an aperture card. The centre circle is a Joy die. I used Glossy Accents on the roses.

A5 girl card, image is from Funky hand coloured with Pro markers. Papers are downloads from The Creative Cottage. Cut out with Nesties 10. Buttons, pocket & frill are Joy dies. round sentiment Cuddly Buddly.

LIM week 16 Theme "butterfly/butterflies" 2

Less is more challenge 16 butterflies.

I wish the butterfly flourish was more in the corner. Because it wasn't and I wanted an A5 card. I placed the embossing border down the left hand side. I think it would have look better on it's own.

I wish I could use a program like paint or something but alas I have not gone there yet! Not sure where to start really!

Well it's Saturday or should it be Less is more day. I tried to make one earlier but it went in the bin!

One layer challenge
I'm struggling this week.
I used an Onare baby stencil I have had for ages and not used. I embossed and pricked quite therapuetic! Lol! I actually used my light box for the first time since I got my Big Shot! Butterfly is an Xcut punch.

Morning Peeps!

I'm afraid my mojo's on holiday today!
I have had a bit of a rough week with people in hospital ect!
The final straw being I have just found out my DS2 has had a broken foot for the past couple of years. Unfortunately it didn't show up on an xray. He had an MRI scan on Friday. Scan has also shown he also has arthritis in it.
Most of you will no he is in the army! He has been in agony and has had a very difficult time. He has been accused of telling lies to get out of the fitness training.
He now needs an operation.
He is based in Germany and will have his operation there.

LIM week 15 "one layer"

YAY It's Saturday and that means a new wonderful challenge over at LIM.
My little cat got an extra fuss this morning she woke me up at 7.55! Who needs an alarm clock!

I have used Mega circle nestie for the oval, In the Grand Calibur.

To emboss without cutting in the Grand Calibur you will need to use base mat then nestie, card ( to keep the nestie in place on the card I use low tack tape) soft mat and then pink embossing

Sizzix flourish stamp and the cake is an old stamp I bought in a job lot off Ebay!
Thank you Mandi for your tip using the Quickie glue pen and embossing powder. This is what I used for the centre of the flowers on the cake. I have never been a big stamper and I feel I am learning something and loving it each week!
I would like to say a big thank you to Lady Diva lim's Mandy and Chrissie for their inspiration and I look forward to reading their constructive tips. They are usually right I have to say!

CAS-ual Friday challenge #2 buttons & twine

It's CASual Friday challenge time again! 6x6 card I used a Nestie to cut the aperture. Stamp is Kan ban. I used twine for the dog lead and for the pencil buttons. Flourish is a Sizzix stamp gold embossed.

I love making these card. Can you tell??
I made this using dots embossing folder and some of my new stamps. Sentiment says "A women should be two things, classy and fabulous" by Coco Channel!
Dress is heat embossed in white onto vellum. Card is Snow white Centura Pearl by Crafter's Companion.

Morning LIMettes, it's a dreary day here in the North east. I have been playing with my new goodies. (Talk about getting caught) I finally gave in and ordered a kit I have had my eye on for ages at QVC. The Kan Ban handbag with all the gorgeous stamps in! Well, it was on easy pay so I mean I just had to didn't I? Well, you guessed it it came yesterday when OH was in. He doesn't say a word bless him but his face says it all!!! (Place is overflowing with Craft)! Card no3 for LIM Challenge 14 White on white.
Recipe
Go Kreate XXL circles to make my 6x6 circle card.
Middle circle has been embossed with the gorgeous Cuttlebug dots 5x7 folder.
I embossed the lady with Versamark and white embossing powder.
Flowers are made with vellum & Bigz Sizzix die and finished with a couple of gems.
Also used a flower Marianne die.

I used Paper Mill white linen card, Grand Nesties 4 to make a frame in my Grand Calibur my card is A5 so they would fit in the Big Shot ect. I used a couple of Marianne flourishes and a flower from my stash.

Well I think I'm addicted to LIM lol! This is my last attempt for this week new challenge tomorrow!!! I can't wait!!!

I have used a couple of embossing folders on it and the butterfly is from The Clipart Fairy. Ribbon from my stash!

Top card I used a couple of Mickey Cuttlebug embossing folders. Coloured him with Copics. The no1 image is from Crafts you print. Letters are from our local £ shop.

Middle card I used a GG embossing board, bow from my stash.
