Less Is more #61

Hi Everyone! 

We don't need an alarm clock the cat gets us up! We have a couple of cats who come and eat the food our's doesn't eat there's only one she tolerates & he treats it as his secound home. Tink wakes us up to tell us he is there then sits and glares at him till he eats her food then goes. If she isn't about he has a cuddle and sometimes a sleep before he goes!

 Our granddaughter's have decided his name is Princey Baby. We took him to the vets a while ago and was very relieved he was really a boy or we would have had to call him Princess lol! 

(We have no idea who he belongs too). 

Enough waffle from me.

Midweek reminder for Whoopsi Daisy Challenge!

Hi Everyone, hope you are all having a great week. Over on WD this week our challenge is "Use that stash UP"! You don't have to use a WD image but it would be great if you did!

The adorable image I used is by Linnie. Mona was the inspiration behind my card this time. Her's was a gorgeous pink card and I loved it so much this is my take on it. HERE

I made an 8x8 card.

Whoopsi Daisy Dt Use it up!

Hi Everyone, well my little family should be back in Germany by the time you read this. I am getting the house re- organized, it's so peaceful. It was great having them but I need to recharge the old batteries. The cats very happy she has her house back lol!

Less is more week #60 Recipe

Hi Everyone. Did you miss me?

We went out this morning for breakfast and a little retail therapy. I bought Diana a Union Jack dress a little like the one Gerry Halliwell wore a few years ago. Diana's choice but we new as soon as she saw it she would want it. WOW 3 month old baby and in a size 8 dress already!  She looks amazing but is worried about her tummy!! She just ate a large steak and all the trimmings lol!

I had to lie down when we came home I'm worn out. I can't believe they go back to Germany tomorrow. How time flies we will miss them so much.

Hello Kitty

Hi Everyone!

Doesn't time fly I can't believe it's only 3 more days and my family go back to Germany it has been great having them here. We are loving every minute.

I made this Hello Kitty card today.

I used the gorgeous tree from The Stamping Boutique on Ross 8x8 card. Coloured with Pro Markers. Spellbinders Fancy oval, Fancy Tags 2 & Daisy.

Large dots EF. I also used a Darice large border folder Scroll with a bird! Nestibilities decorative elements 4. Flowers are from Nellie Snellen punch & emboss. Stamps are from Stamp it stamped with London fog Momento.

Diana, Kelly-Ann 3 months, Ella 5 & Jessica 8.

I've had a bad few days health wise & really shouldn't have gone yesterday but hay ho I will live! I've had a migraine most of today to top it off! I'm feeling lots better now.

I made the card following the sketch from Crafty card makers challenge but by the time I finished it the challenge was over lol!

Harrogate Goodies & A Thank you Meiflower

 I had a lovely day, it's my favourite show.
We did a Craftwork cards workshop. We made two cards & got a gorgoeus goodie bag.

Then I went to see Shabana from one of my favourite shops the wonderful Meiflower to spend the £10 I won on Cards Galore challenge. With this card HERE

Less is more week 59 Theme "Mask"

Less is more  week 59 Theme "Mask" this is totally out of my comfort zone. I have hardly ever used this technique. I love other peoples work though and would like to do more of it. These are some of the things I used. I also used a Copic for the stems. Flowers are punched with Nelly Snedden punch & emboss.

My friend & I went to Ross Papercraft show at  Nissan. What a great day. I bought these Kan Ban toppers, gold corners. The beautiful pearl card is from Terry Ross who runs the shows. It's gorgeous card & paper. Brilliant price.

Another 2 Lim cards

Hi everyone, I'm back with another two Lim cards for the Less is more challenge #58 one layer "script". I have loads of birthdays coming up in March & April  most of them family ones. So I decided to make a start.

Both Stamps with the script on are from Anita's. 

First card I made with Pearl Centura ivory & embossed a Spellbinders nesties into the card. I used TH DI  Tea Dye for the stamp and round the edges. Tatty Ted stamped with TH Brushed corduroy, worn lipstick & crushed olive with a Koi watercolour brush.

My black card I stamped & embossed with blue baby powder coloured with Cosmic shimmer scarlet red.

I used backing papers & a pre coloured image from Daisy & friends CD.

Emma Collins PR at Do Crafts sent me this months Creativity Club sketches to play with. I only had time to make one of them this time.. I used some free digital download papers & Chloes border stamp (released on 11th) I stamped with Brilliance ink pads and clear EP onto vellum cut them out for the circle & Chloe's texture plate on sale now.
