GDT for Less is More!

Hi everyone.
 I am so excited today as most of you no I love Less is More so when Chrissie asked me to GDT I was over the moon.

This week it's Lucky Dip week 165 at Less is More it's "Circles" I stamped a Woodware butterfly and sentiment.

I zentangled little circles in some of the sections.

Well I have imposed a stash ban on myself! I have managed a week without buying any!!
I am having to sit on my hands quite a bit but I really need to do it.
I must admit I did receive a box of goodies to use for my DT stuff  from Aspire Crafts.
So it softened it a little!!!!
It is my granddaughter's 11th birthday on 17th April so I am trying to get to that date without buying.
I noticed a couple of days ago she is the same height as me!
Scary I am only 5 foot but she is only 10!!

Hi everyone, today's card was made for the MAWTT challenge. 

The images are free from Sliekje digi stamps (All her images are free)

I coloured them with ProMarkers and Glossy Accents.

I love cats because of there characters. Tink is 19 years old in May and has been my loyal friend. She is usually near me and although deaf now she knows when I move around. Her sheepskin blanket is on the floor below her but she likes to lay on the top of the boxes.

Fluffy came to us a couple of years ago soaking wet hubby fed him and dried him and he has been here ever since. He comes & goes as he pleases but is here most of the time. He has doted on hubby ever since. 

They are both such characters in there own way.

Spitfire lives a few doors along from us. It is quite at home here as you can see. It eats the food ours leave and has been known to slip under the table for a nap on a wet night.

Tink doesn't like it and she is in trouble if caught.

Boxed card & WOYWW 251

Hi everyone it's been a few weeks since I managed to play along at Julia's Stamping Ground.

A Happy  WOYWW 251 to all visitors.

 I have to say I am ashamed of my workspace at the mo!

You would never believe it was tidy yesterday until I realized how close a certain deadline was!

 It was panic station lol!

 I have been trying to deal with some family issues this past couple of weeks and I am having trouble concentrating.

Fancy regal book card.

 I made a Fancy Regal book & Fancy box cutting files by Amanda Davis.

I'm not sure why the book looks a different colour than the box as they were made out of the same card stock from Ross papercrafts.

Blossom card no 2!

Hi everyone i've been playing nice today, not that I have been very impressed with what I made. I like this one and love this fab new image called Blossom from Delicious Doodles.

Delicious Doodles challenge Black + one.

I used black and white, skin & hair tones are also allowed.

I used Imagination mask & Gunmetal Sparkle gel.

My sentiment is from Just right.

Getting messy....

Hi back again with another quick card I made messing around with stencils.

I have had Cosmic Shimmer Mists for about a year and to my shame never used. I used Rich Gold. I like the effect but made a bit more of a mess than usual! My blue dressing gown is now speckled with gold lol!

They are also quite strong colours for me but I am pleased with the effect.

Well there is no such thing as renting a car in the UK then leaving it in Germany!

My wonderful husband hired a car. Adam drove there hubby drove home,

Lets just say we have had a traumatic week to say the least!

Adam is now safely back in Germany.

Mid month Inspiration at Imagination...

Hi everyone it's mid month inspiration time over on Imagination 
Our challenge is March in Bloom.

I used Imagination Daisy & flourish stamp and  framed the card
 with an Imagination stamped sentiment. I used Wow fine ep. Gold Halo Glitter.

Patterned paper also Imagination. I punched the corners.

Princess Carriage & a Nova!

Hi everyone sorry I am not around much this week. 

I have been spending some time with my youngest son. I can't believe how fast the week has gone.

My eldest son was 34 yesterday!! Gosh it makes me feel old. 

He has an old Nova that is his toy! (Hence the card).

It's a bit like his man shed. He tinkers every chance he gets. 

With 3 daughters it's his escape and on the front drive so he can keep an eye on his little monkeys! 

My Princess carriage was made using Hasslecastle template for the wheels and box. I used a bauble on the top.

Hi everyone it's new challenge time at Creative Card Crew "Lucky Charms".

We got to use fabulous Delicious Doodle images.

I printed the Wild Rose image onto Bazzill basics green & red card & Glamour Dust. I used First Edition J'adore patterned card for the background.

I used Ebosser A4 EF folder for the embossing. My charm is from Dawn Till Dust.

Sentiment is from one of last years Creative Stamping magazine.

Men cards!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi everyone March & April are busy birthday months for our family.

It's my Sis & BIL anniversary today. 41 years how goods that.

Today I have two mens cards which like many crafter's I really find a chore.

Base cards are from Anna Marie Designs

My 1st card is for our Uncle who is 75 & the 2nd is for my son who is 34!

Both their birthdays are on 13th March.

I used Papermania numbers & sentiment on the 1st and Zentangled them.

Gary's card was made in MCS. Using their mens artwork.

Gold & silver mirri is from C&C.

I used the stop watch EF from Crafters Companion I bought from Franki's A Crafty Touch

I have another two men's cards to make!!!

Photo Box

Hi everyone, had a great day with Jen Fisher, Viv and some other ladies. 

I have been to a Wear Crafts workshop today.

We made a photo box and an 8x8 scrapbook album.

We received loads of gorgeous crafting goodies and I even won some 12x12 papers.

Bought some lush stamps and bits. Jen has some lush crafting goodies at great prices on her website.

Less is more "One layer"

Hi everyone it's Lim  One Layer "Spring Flowers" I got this gorgeous image & sentiment yesterday from FVI
I took the image into My Craft Studio.

I coloured with Distress inks and a little Wink of Stella.
I'm off to a workshop today with my best mate at Wear Crafts

Well we can't move for army gear but it feels like a home again. No doubt the boys (Adam's friends) will land on us tonight. He has some great friends he went to school with them so we no them well.
I love how the house comes alive but no doubt we will be pleased to have peace restored next weekend lol!

3 cards

Hi everyone, I have had a rocky week as have a few of my crafty friends.

Must be something in the stars!

Since before my Dad passed away I have had Psoriasis doc says I have had so much to deal with my body has had enough! 

Well I've had enough of my body but I guess I'm stuck with it lol!

On Wednesday evening I noticed I was loosing my hair told myself it wasn't that bad went to the hairdressers yesterday and her face was a picture when she saw my hair and found another patch!

The only thing that will help is try not to stress! HOW? I have a hospital appointment next month so hope they can do something.

I had an awful headache yesterday which was a migraine this morning.

It's gone now so I am hoping that's it for now.

My gorgeous son Adam has been in the UK on exercise for a few weeks & has come home tonight for a week. 

He is on his own so no babies but still it's great he is here.

You want to see the huge bags all over the house how on earth he will get on trains and a plane with it all I do not no.
