Less is more week "feeling fruity"

Well six moths on and challenge 26 at Less I s More HERE
At last I made a card!
A5 Papermill card,  I used my Paermania cupcake embossing folder layering a couple of different colours, strawberries have been coloured with Cosmic shimmer acrylics and a quickie glue pen with some gold glamour dust.sentiment was stamped with clear ink pad & coloured with Cosmic shimmer gold pearl!

I used their beautiful  image Ice cream Tia. Coloured with Pro Markers. For the ice cream I used a snow pen.
I used gold Anna Marie Design card put through the Big Shot with a Friskers embossing matt I forgot I had!

18th Birthday card

Just a simple card today for an 18th Birthday. I embossed some pink card with a Sizzix embossing folder matted it onto an A5 card the same colour. Key is from a cake decorating shop topped with 3 different sized bows made with organza ribbon and placed on top of each other and a flower. Sentiment is computer generated.
I finished it and thought it would be another card for this weeks  LIM Challenge " ribbon ot buttons" No4 lol!

Also entering this into Crafty Annes challenge 45 "dry Embossing".

Another LIM challenge card. Less Is more Challenge 25 Resipe  "Buttons / ribbon" Or Plural of! ( No 3). 

It has taken me ages to make this lol! I'm shattered at the moment. 

I used Anna Marie plain card stock.  Pink is just some scraps I had laid around not sure where form. The Thank you is from a Sizzix folder matted onto a nestie shape. 

Flower is a rub on from Tracy Hollins Elegant collection I bought from QVC ages ago.

Less Is more Challenge 25 Resipe "Buttons or ribbon"

A couple of Less Is More cards. Challenge 25 already. HERE Doesn't time fly?
My mojos disappeared at the mo and I have struggled to make these!
I've been very low the last few days.
 OH took me for a meal & to see Harry Potter in 3d.this afternoon. (I really enjoyed the film & loved the 3d. )Right near Hobbycraft, I bought some alphabet stamps and some Sizzix embossing folders. Like I need more!!

Anyhow the first of my cards I made using Gold & Black & Stylised flower embossing folders.The cake stamp and sentiment was free out of the Quick cards magazine. Called "Time for tea". I embossed them with silver embossing powder. Coloured with Pro Markers. Pink ribbon from Boyes.
My second card I made with the same embossing folders and Tatty Ted stamp. I have also embossed with silver embossing powder & added a button. I prefer this one.

Sorry it's been a busy few days...

Morning everyone I am still here!! Having a really busy week, loads to catch up on. Sorry I haven't had time to visit you all as much this week. I have had my son home on leave, before his tour of duty.

 It was great to spend some time with him.We took him to the airport yesterday. He is based in Germany.

 It was a horrendous journey to Manchester in terrible weather conditions. Really scary at times. OH has taken some time off to be with me I think!

 I just feel a bit stranger than usual lol! Hey that's life isn't it, we have to keep plodding on!

So hopefully over the next week "normality" will resume!

Art Deco cards

 Ooops I did it again! Craft shopping lol! I noticed these gorgeous downloads for sale at The Clipart Fairy I love them and couldn't resist them. I have used Anna Marie Designs card stock for my base cards. I printed onto some linen card this time. I used some Craftwork card Card candy, ribbon from Joanna Sheen. I made the flowers for the brown bow and centre of pink strip with a Tonic punch. Rose buds from my stash. Lots of Stickles on the brown one.
Doh! I forgot to trim the ribbon on the pink before I photographed it lol!

Carousel & LIM card!

I have two items for you today my Less Is More challenge 24 "circles" HERE card & a Carousel card.
My LIM card I made using Papermania capsule cream & nestie circles. Stamps were free in a magazine. I used Brilliance ink Pearlescent rust. I distressed the card using this cream stuff (supposed to be gold)  I found in a Debbie Moore kit from a few years ago and used for the first time today

Carousel is for a Ruby Wedding hence the red! I am not very impressed with either really but thought I would share. I do value everyone's opinions. Carousel was made using Amethyst template. I have made a few but I'm not sure about the red on this one.

I had a wonderful day yesterday at Doncaster C&C show. It was a great day with some fab friends. It was a long day so I am shattered today but worth it. I bought lots of goodies so now need to find a home for them.
I went straight to Anna Marie designs because I love their 300 gsm card and they sell out so quick. It's a great price too. It is a fab staple card. Good for base cards & Pro Markers ect. They also had a great offer on their cd's so you guessed it! I bought them! Got some different coloured card packs too.
 Once I had that we had the day to browse and chill out in the C&C VIP lounge.
I have been looking for a new paper cutter. I bought the Crafter's Companion Clever cut at a super show price & I have to say I am impressed with it.
Lots of the usual  card & pretty paper!  A flower punch. A Crafts too holder for my embossing folders ect.

40th Birthday card!

Today's card is from an Arty Farty Champaign bottle template. I used A4 Anna Marie white card folded in half length ways. I stamped the champaign glasses I think they are Crafter's Companion stamps I have had for ages. I used fancy Spellbinders oblong shapes. Organza ribbon from Joanna Sheen. Bits from my stash.

My DT card Crafting For All Season's Challenge #5 "Furry Friends"

I have made a twisted easel card (my first lol) with A3 card folded in half and cut in the GC with Go Kreate Frilly half squares xxl. Plain square and the frame  Grand Nesties Squares. I used TH Distressed inks Weathered wood  & Broken Sage for the background. I coloured the image with Whispers watercolour pens. Some Glossy accents and glamour dust.  Paper is from Summer Breeze First Edition. I made the bow and held it together with the hat pin & silicone. Finished with bits from my stash.

Recipe

2 Cute Sramp "Cake my love" Printed onto Papermania white capsule card. I took the stamp into MCS resized it and copy & pasted 3 times. I also added some of the CC Little monkey paper.

I used Creative cottege Little monkey stripe paper.

Cosmic shimmer red & blue drawings inks.

Some gems.

I put a piece of Centura card through the Bigshot and embossed with the large dots folder.

Special wedding gatefold Card

I used 5 sheets of A4 Crafter's Companion Centura Snow white card. 2 sheets of special paper. Nesties 4 in the Grand Calibur for aperture. Also used them cut down on the fronts. Thanks to Lesley for that idea. I love it!

Large & small scalloped squares for the front & inside.  LOTV square bride and groom.

Large hearts are made with a Cuttlebug die. I made the bow on the front using lots of 15mm  chiffon ribbon and a couple of fancy pins to secure. Bits and bobs from my stash!

I'm having a strange day today
It's taken me all day to think of something! Then I thought of three LOL! I do seem to struggle this week.
I went to The Range this morning and didn't buy a THING! I couldn't decide what to buy so didn't buy anything!

1st card; A5  card image is from LOTV free image. I used a Marianne cutting & embossing folder.Sentiment is from a free set of Abi's stamps I got image and stamps in Papercraft Inspirations magazine today at Asda.
Coloured with Whispers water colour pens and a touch of Glamour Dust!
2nd card; 6x6 card,  image is from another free set of stamps I have had a while. The bunting stamp is Papermania. Coloured with Whispers.
3rd card; A5 Image is from Papermania stamp, framed with a Go Kreate xxl frilly frame, coloured with WWC pens.

Cherish Moses Basket. New Baby!

I have had this Arty Farty Designs Cherish template for about a year and finally got to play with it. 

I used Kan Ban card and bits from my stash.

I am so happy to say my son comes home tomorrow, I have lots of different emotions as it will be his last leave before he goes to Afghanistan. I came home today to a letter from the MOD about a pre deployment  meeting I have been invited to. I have to be brave for Adam sake & make the most of this special time.

I have been given a menu request lol of all his favourite meals he wants before he goes also will I make him an omelet everyday for his breakfast!!! I don't no about that lol! It may be a bit much to ask as I don't do breakfast!!! 

Kids, I suppose you can't blame him for trying!

Wedding Card

Today's card is made from a cut and craft template I have used pearl hammered card from my stash and the slate & base card are from Crafter's Companion cd 3D Builder Occupations & hobbies. Rainbow mirri card windows and doors are from Create & Craft, Flowers ect from my stash.

I am entering this in CAS Friday challenge anything but a traditional card shape. HERE

I made this Just For You. Me to you card. I stamped Tatty Ted in TH Distressed ink Broken Glass. I coloured with Copics.
Corners are Joy butterfly corners.Cut in Papermania textured card!
 Flower is cut on the Cricut using Picturesque and embossed with Cuttlebug dots folder.
Punched butterfly is from EK (I think)!
I  have no idea whose the backing paper I think it was a free download.
I decorated with pink Liquid pearls & lots of Glamour dust!

Less Is more Challenge 22 Colour "shades of blue"

Well it's Limday again! Another great challenge from The Diva's. Shades of blue! Here!

I got a fab new Cricut cartridge yesterday Martha Stewart Elegant Cake art. ( A bargain from USA it cost me under £20 with the P&P).
Let's just say "I love it". All the die cuts are cut from there apart from the large flower on the first card. It's from Picturesque the layers have been re sized with the Gypsy then embossed in the large Cuttlebug dots folder.I coloured it with blue Pro marker. I also used some card candy and gems, and a sprinkling of Glamour dust. sentiments are stamped with Blur Brilliance. card stock from Paper Mill.
