Hi everyone!
It seems you liked the box I did yesterday it was 8x8.
This one is 6x6 and I thought you may like a tutorial. It's really easy to make.
....................
Cut a piece of A3 card 6" wide and 16" long. Score at 6" 4" 6" this is for the base.
Top
6" wide and 8" long. Score 3" 4" & 1" attach the 1" to the back creating a hinge.
Sides
Cut 2 pieces of card
5 1/2" by 8" score every half inch then concertina fold. attach to sides.
I cut 3 pieces of card 6 3/4" by 51/2" slot them into place (decorate first) this helps to strengthen the sides.
Decorate as required.
I made some little notelets to go inside.
I used A3 card from Ross Papercraft.
Limited Edition papers J'adore
MS punch for the edge.

ReplyDeletebeautiful papers! we made a similar file folder using graphic45 transatlantique for holidays but we constructed it with integral folded central supports - if that makes sense! And we had a great day at Grassington! Jo Channon, Jill Tuck, Kim Sutton and Ally's Inky Fingers were there to name a few. Loved every minute of it, jenxxx
