90th Birthday!

Hi everyone!

Hope you are all well as some of you no we are taking care of the grandchildren for a few weeks until Adam is finished in the army next month.

We are both exhausted and my eldest son and DIL has taken them for tonight and all day tomorrow for me to go to the Ross Papercraft show at Nissan.

I was devastated to hear my beloved David Bowie passed away this week but the children have helped  to take my mind off it.

 I am lucky that I have seen him live 8 times and even gave my boys his names for their middle names. lol! Much to their disgust haha.

 Retail therapy tomorrow is just what I need!

I made this before Christmas and forgot to blog it!

I used Go Kreate XXL squares and Little B smaller squares.

Live it up!

Hi Everyone!

Well one week over with the little ones! I am so tired but we have had lots of fun.

It's just a shame the rains so bad they can't enjoy the outdoors. 

Jayden actually had a sleep this afternoon lol!

Kelly has discovered You Tube on Nana's phone and she loves music. If I get a msg she's disgusted lol!

I was asleep by 8pm last night. I've managed to make my Lim card tonight.

Over on Less is more it's "One Layer week and flourish"

I used a Spellbinders heart die and the sentiment is one of a set of three by Stampendous..

It's a new challenge at Julia Spiri!

Hi everyone!

It's new challenge time at Julia Spiri. It's always anything goes with a twist. This time the twist is monotome. 

I used the lovely Princess in a castle HERE

I used an 7x7 card I covered some of the card with material. I coloured the image with ProMarkers and Lyra Polycolor pencils.

I added some faux stitching round the edge.

Celebrate in Style...

Hi everyone!

Hubby took me over to Chloes unit this morning! 

I got a couple of fab bargains this Desire sentiment die included.
Our little Kelly-Ann went with me, boy she loves to shop lol! She is so good when i take her it's a pleasure. (Hope it lasts lol)
She did rearrange a few of Chloe's glitters but they are so scrumptious lol! She also had to have some cerise bling.
Grandad hasn't noticed the pretty little cerise hearts on the back of his seat!

My card is 5x5. I also got some Die-namics Stitched Jumbo Fishtail banner Stax from Dies to die for.

I used a little distress ink and a free leaf stamp I have had a while. I used Adirondack Lettuce.

I added some fawn card to the inside of the card.

Adam had some great news when he went back to Germany they have arranged for him to have early release. He had asked and been told no.

 Unknown to him they had filled in the forms and it's been granted. He should get back here in February.

Not Just cards...

Hi everyone!

Things are as well as can be expected really with the little ones. They are pretty good till bed time then don't want to sleep.

They have always gone to bed great but not since Daddy left. 

Daddy is in bits in Germany He just wants to come home.  I am just taking it a day at a time. 

Thank goodness for Skype and Whats app. 

He will be away quite a bit on exercize and retraining that's why they are staying here.

We went out for an Italian just before Christmas. Spag Bol & Ice cream lol!

Tyler is having his 1st taste of ice cream in the background lol.

Hi everyone!

First of all I would just like to wish you all a Very Happy, Healthy and prosperous 2016.

It's starting off to be a challenging new year for us as we will be looking after Kelly & Jayden for a few months while Daddy finishes his time in the army. I just hope they will settle here without him. He will be coming and going quite a bit over the next few months while he retrains.

More big changes for those two precious little ones.  

Over on Crafty Hazelnuts Patterned paper challenge HERE it's our 1st challenge for 2016. It's always anything goes as long as you use some of your old paper stash we all have laid around.
