Christmas at Fab N Funky.....

Hi everyone!

I'm rather late with my card for the new Fab N Funky challenge!

My elderly neighbor passed away sudden and it was his funeral today!

In the last few weeks he cut the large trees down that were between our houses and it's made such a difference we could have a natter and a laugh over the fence. 

Kelly and Jayden are so noisy. Kelly loves the swings and is usually singing Frozen or twinkle twinkle at the top of her voice. 

Sadly she has her Nana's singing voice which hubby says "Sounds like the cats being strangled" I would look over at Alan pottering on in the garden with a huge grin on his face.

He will be sadly missed but I have some lovely memories of him and his late wife. Even the kids who grew up around him loved & respected him We have been neighbors for 20 years.

Less is more!

Hi everyone!

I have had a lovely day with my 9year old grandaughter Ella.

We have been making cards for today's Less is more challenge. which is to use Thread!

Mine was made using the Spellbinders Vines of Passion heart. and some Do crafts twine.

Sentiment die and stamp are from Clearly Besotted!

The next card was made BY ELLA age 9!
We rarely get to play now but today I allowed her free run of my stamps and inks. Eek! I must admit she has done really well and looked after them.

 The heart shower is by Bo Bunny & the sentiment and die are Clearly Besotted.  Foam heart topper.

Back again...

Hi everyone!

And another lol! 

Two of our little grandchildren set off for home yesterday It took Indra 18 hours on her own with the little ones to get back to Germany. It's been wonderful to have them here.

Kelly has started school and Jayden nursery. They love it I just hope it lasts.

I'm struggling with my health and other things and keep getting things in a muddle. I bought these fabulous stamps and the lovely die to match

I ordered two the same lol. Lovely Jenny at Clearly Besotted offered me a refund bless her but i'm thinking I may do a blog candy!

I made this card for Colour throwdown and CAS(E) this sketch.

September - October edition magazine...

September-October 2016 Through the Craft Room Door Magazine Release

The September-October Edition of Through the Craft Room Door is available on the Website and the Design Team of Through the Craft Room Door has created over a dozen awesome tutorials to share with you all this edition. 

Our theme this issue is Halloween, Fall and Back to School so with over 160 various cards and projects we hope you find something to inspire you!

We have three really cute images from our Featured Digi Artist, Melanie Kay of WinkWinkInk to get you motivated to make those Halloween cards or projects and Deonna is continuing to help us along our Junk Journal Journey.

Less is More!

Hi everyone.

Over on Less is More the challenge is Peacock Feather/colours.
The good thing about sorting your craft room is finding things you forgot you had!
I used a stamp by Uniko Studio.Wonderful Washi. Sentiment stamp and die by Clearly Besotted.
Distress inks Seedless Preserves,Tumbled Glass & Peacock Feathers. Sentiment was stamped in black Versafine..

Craft Room!!!

Hi Everyone!

My craft room has been driving me crazy for ages.

 I had to try and get it sorted out! I bought a 12x12 stand £20 from Ebay HERE.

They still have a few left and also do them in A4. Not for long at that price. It came next day delivery. I had not even told hubby lol!

I wish I had room for more!! I can finally see work space. I tend to craft on my knee so the work space is usually cluttered. 

I don't suppose it will be like that long though!
