Hi everyone!
Another week has flown by and it's time for another WOYWW !
I thought I would show you my real work space!
I mainly craft on my knee using the tray in the photo.
I have a short body and long legs so I find it easier this way.
I don't mention this online much but I have severe Scoliosis and Arthritis among other things a few of them down to the Scoliosis. (If you don't no. Scoliosis is a curvature of the spine)
I can't stand for long due to pain and my legs go numb.
..............
I am in the process of making some foamiran flowers.
Smaller one's were cut with the 5cm punch. The punches are so easy to use.
Larger flowers were cut with Sheena Douglass carnation dies.
I used the soft pastels to add a little colour to the ivory Foamiran.
Punches, pastels and foamiran are available at Crafty Enjoyments HERE
We have a Fabulous Foamiran group on Facebook
I would love it if you would pop over and join us.HERE
Hope you all have a great week.
Thanks for calling
xx Jan

A desk doesn't have to be a desk. If you're more comfortable with a tray, then that's your desk. I'm just nosy either way! Happy WOYWW Sarah #23
ReplyDeleteLooks like you are going to be busy with those flowers and butterflies. Have fun.

I don't have a desk either, I work on the floor but my knees are starting to protest so I need to rearrange my room to get a desk in! Love the flowers and butterflies Helen #2

ReplyDeleteI think I've heard of those flowers before - better look into it! It must be fun making your own! Thanks for visiting earlier! Have a lovely weekend! zsuzsa #17
ReplyDeleteI think you just have to craft whichever way is most convenient for you, given your symptoms. Good for you for getting on with stuff! I haven't used pastels for years, they used to be messy but great fun!!

Looks like you are having some crafty fun! I admire how you can keep going, in spite of your scoliosis and arthritis - you don't let them get in the way of who you really are. Thanks for sharing, Lindart #31
ReplyDeleteI admire your creativity and persistence with the pain you have. Your test looks like it's a good idea. Thanks for visiting me.

I create by sitting on the floor mostly "indian" style, with my legs folded in front of me.
