I have 3 little granddaughters so I just had to have this. I decided to have a go ant a couple of challenges with it.

I used DCWV kids 8x8 card stock and Martha Stewart PATP. Circle and flower nesties. LOTV image, ribbon by The Ribbon Girl. a Marrianne flourish. Some flowers and stamps from my stash

Using my favourite Marianne designable folder and Fiskers ribbon punch. I also used Label 4 nesties for my computer generated sentiment. TFL

Todays cards

Hi everyone, thanks for calling it's another lovely day here.

Today I have made;

A christening book for Zach who is 2 yrs old.

A ladies 50th the lady it's for, loves watches so after loads of thought I ended up using the watch off the Keepsake, past times board. I also used a Marianne designables folder.

A man's 50th for Stevie who loves horse racing. I used the cd Man of the moment by Amethyst.

Easter card

Special day card, DYSU challenge card

I couldn't resist this gorgous kit from The Clip Art Fairy here. I made it up then put it on an easel card. TFL

Flower card

I was at Harrogate Papercraft show yesterday. A card very similar to this was on a stall called The Hobby House here.
I loved it so much I bought some of their beautiful flowers so I could make my own. I used the Cuttlebug embossing folder plus perfect perinnials. It's on Kan Ban card stock and I stamped the happy birthday. TFL xx Jan

A Christening Starcard A4 size

A4 in size, I used 10 sheets of card. I printed onto white card. papers are from The Clip art Fairy

I used Go Kreate XXL Frilly 2 nesties. In my JT to cut out the aperture. I stamped the back and front of the baby image for the centre then coloured them with Copics. Rocking horses are Szzix dies cut in the Big Shot. TFL

Bunny easel card for two challenges

I made this with double sided Butterly kisses stamps. Coloured with Copics then I used xxl Go Kreate circles for the easel card.

Step by step instructions for embossed card!

Morning peeps, it's a beautiful day here in the north east. It isn't helping my poor head any. I get terrible headaches and I have had this one for 2 days up to now. Anyway enough of my moans! Here is your step by step tut.
I used an A4 piece of card and an A5 piece. I like to use a contrasting colour because it shows the cut outs on the Marianne designables. I also like to make this card in the same colour. It looks very elegant like that.

I used mirri card not thinking it is a beautiful sunny day here so apologies for dazzling you but I think you can still see how I did it ok.

If you look at the embossing folders most of them have more of a gap at one end. I try to have them at the same side then I trim this off. Make sure your pattern still looks the right way up.

Creative blog award

Thank you so much Viv for thinking about me, I am so thrilled.

Now I have to tell you 5 of my greatest atchievements! Or random things so heres mine!

1. I have two lovely grown up son's!

2 I went on holiday to Turkey with 3 friends and came back in a relationship with one of them we had known each other since school and just been friends up till then. That was 14 yrs ago and we have been together ever since!

3. I went paragliding off a mountain in Olu Deniz in Turkey! (Turkey has a lot to answer for).

4. I started my blog with no help (good for me) lol!

5. I have entered this wonderful world of craft that most people do not even no about and made some wonderful friends.

Now the hard part I have to pick three blogs out of all the wonderful blogs out there!!!!

Special Friend 70th birthday card

I used 6 sheets of Crafters companion ivory Centura pearl card. and 4 sheets of Hunkydory cream and gold card. I stamped and gold embossed the rose details. i used my mega oval nesties to cut the aperture in the Joy Trouvaille A4 cutting machine. Bows ect from my stash.

Golden Wedding Card

I have had a busy day today with phone calls and visitors but ive enjoyed my day it's just not productive. lol!
Today I have made a golden wedding card with my favourits, Maranne designables and Cuttlebug dots folders

A4 in size. I used 10 sheets of A4 card to make this., Some pretty backing papers and some epoxy stickers, Marianne die for the flourish. Bows and hearts from my stash.

A Christening card

Thanks for dropping in today I have finally finished something I could post lol! I have had a day trying not to woory about my son. he travelled back to Germany overnight thankfully he is fine. He had no internet connection to message me. His mobile was switched off so I could not contact him! Kid's I no he is 23 but us mother's do worry. Alls well that ends well. Anyway I will stop babling!Card made with the Keepsake Tall Story board. Booties are cut on my poor Craftrobo it's a case of will it or won't it work i'm afraid! It drives me nuts! I reduced the size to fit the Tall Story or a Bookatrix. I cut the Teddy and Rocking horse on the Big Shot with Sizlets. TFL

With Sympathy

Thanks for popping by today, after a dark start in the North East it looks like it may brighten up.
My Eldest is 31 today Happy Birthday son, my youngest is off back to Germany later. It may be a busy day so I thought I would post early. I hope you all have a wonderful day whatever you are up too!


My card today is a Sympathy card we all need them ocasionally.
I made this c5 card with Paperbox white card matted onto blue and my Marianne designables folder on the right then I cut the ribbon slots out with a Friskas punch. Added a peel off and some bows & pretty flowers I have had for a while!

Marianne Embossed card

I made a 6x6 card out of pearl stardream I used some scrap white linin and I used these 2 gorgous Marianne dies you can buy them here I also used a Martha Stewart punch.

TOP TIP
To cut the flower I cut it once and left the card in the die then I put more card on top and put through the Big Shot again. It is embossed rather than cut right through! It makes more of a base for the flower. TFL

60th Birthday Bookatrix!

Box card

I made box card, it has taken me a while as I didn't have a template lol!

I'm not sure about it and would like your opinions please. It's a bit busy for me but the lady who it is for likes busy!

I made 2 A4 boxes with acetate windows one for each side and put a verse in each. Centre is A4 box with layers and embossed decoration then the flowers in and some gems. I punched a 4 pieces of card about 2" in width and the length the width of the boxes. I scored them down the midle to create the hinges.
