I finally want to make Christmas cards lol! I've been struggling to make any cards lately I would rather do some mixed media.

I made the exploding box for my step-mam.

Wedding Arbore & Foamiran are from Crafty Enjoyments HERE

Hessian and small dies are from CC.

Sentiment die is Tonic.

I finally got around to making some Christmas cards.

Background was done with my Gelli Plate.

I also added some gold & rose gold Gemini hot foiling elements. I do love my new toy!

I did some more glass etching (i am loving this technique) onto a mirror. My friend and I both adore the late David Bowie and we have lots of amazing memories of seeing him in concert. 

8 concerts and everyone amazing.

I have had this stencil for quite a while and I am pleased with the way it turned out.

His last album was called Black Star, hence the black stars. I 

Now shall I keep it or give it to Glynn my bestie MMMnnn!!

I turned 60 this weekend and I have had an amazing birthday.

On Friday I was taken to Wynyard Hall for afternoon tea by my Sister and niece.

What an amazing place it is.

On Saturday (my birthday) I went for a meal with my hubby.

On the way back we called in our local for a coffee.Unknown to me lots of my family and friends where there.

It was so special I thought I would share with my blog friends.

Etching

Hi everyone!

I recently bought some Imagination Crafts etching cream. I also used an Imagination A4 stencil.

I made some Foamiran flowers and added a glass with a tea light that changes colour.

It was such an easy technique although I would advise you to do it on a mat instead of a glass mat. I did it directly onto my Tim Holtz glass mat and it looks so pretty!!

I coloured them with Spectrum Noir AM and pencils.

Box & card were made using Crafter's Companion dies and stamps. Box die & Stamps.
I made the same aperture card 4 times and glued them back to back.
I added some LCD lights inside each aperture card.

Hi everyone!

It's Wednesday once again so it's time for WOYWW #488

I've been trying to declutter but i'm not getting very far!

Everytime I get a space I want to make something! 

I recently bought some new goodies from Crafters Companion. I made the box with them. I'm going to try and make a fancy card to put inside.

I've also had a play with some clay.

Nothing much finished but no deadlines so it's nice to just chill out with no pressure!

I spray painted it red and added a Superman & Spiderman log.

I've been making a shadow box with lights.

I used an Ikea deep box frame and Crafters Companion Enchanted Garden Create A Card dies.

I added some LED lights this is it light up.

Lights I used i'm not sure what make. I've had them a couple of years.

All images were coloured with Spectrum Noir AM & Colorblend pencils. I added the first two to  MDF Top hats with some die cut cogs.

Both cards were made using Wickedly Wonderful Paper Boutique papers.

I used a stencil and Imagination sparkle medium.
