Last weeks project finished.
Hi everyone!
Happy WOYWW #486
It's where we get to peak at peoples workspaces.
This week I am redecorating the wooden train I did for Jayden
(letters on the top of the train spell Jayden)
a couple of years ago.
They have recently moved to a new home and it was looking well loved.
I have taken the stickers off and coated it with Pebeo black gesso.
There's actually a sneak peak at just one of tomorrows new release at AuroraWings.
Top Hat & skull mdf kit by Sandra Rushton was decorated with Spectrum Noir AM & Colourblend pencils.
I used some mica paints to decorate the frame and added some glass glitter pieces.
Thanks for calling
xx Jan
Hi Jan, great projects. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #10 X
ReplyDeleteI thought the black objects on your desk were printers' blocks! Great idea to redo the train, you''ll have to show us how it turned out next week! The skull pic is great, love how you've decorated the frame.

ReplyDeleteWell, I was trying to work out the anagram on the train...I had just about convinced myself it was a train at least! That really is a very black black! Loving the Mardi Gras feel of the skull picture.
ReplyDeleteThanks Julia. It spells Jayden x
DeleteYour skull made me smile! We have a Jayden in our family too! Chrisx 24

I love that train! At the birth of my son Nout I received a wooden train with the name on it too and guess what? Two out of the four letters were wrong! (It spelled nAuD... ) but my friend swapped it for the right letters and the train has been in his room for years. The skull looks amazing too! Thanks for your visit earlier. I'm late 'doing the round' as it's always weekend already... enjoy! Marit #8
ReplyDeleteHi Jan. Hope the train decorating has gone well!
ReplyDeleteTake care. God bless.
